Is joining a zumba/pilates class good for menopausal women? I have had a knee surgery and am wary of injuring myself once again:((
I am no expert … summarising whatever I have heard/ read
– limit cardio for only warm up. So like 10 min on thread mill
– yoga is great. Pilates would be also as long as you get a balanced instructor
– light weights is an absolute MUST for all women. It’s good for muscle and bones.
– 45 min easy paced walk thrice a week.
