With all the backpacks I own, I carry them the same way I always do. All the way back to high school I kept hacking backpacks. This is my way of customizing my carrier to my exact needs and I will adjust over time as my needs change. I always create some kind of hanging or fastening mechanism inside each compartment to hang water bottles, other bags in the compartments, or hang anything I need to get to quickly.
I usually hang things I have access to so things aren’t at the bottom of my bag where
I have to look for them. Inside I have extra inner metal rings with carabiners on the outer rings that come out of the strap so I can hang things inside. I hang my water bottle on these inner rings (when my outer water bottle pocket contains a coffee cup) or small bags so I can separate things in the same compartment. These inner rings are there for anything that needs to be hung or used.
