Hot flashes are telltale signs of perimenopause. Symptoms can be best described as sudden feeling of warmth/ heat on the face, upper neck and upper chest. This is irrespective of the surrounding- whether cold or warm. This is followed by profuse sweating. When the same things happen at night, they are called night sweats.
If you are feeling warm most of the times, you should check for other hormones as well
