I had my blood test done and my gynaecologist says I am undergoing menopause. Any food recommendations that can help me with it? Thanks in advance.

I know that one should eat more fruits and vegetables and cut back on carbs at this stage. I am looking for some specific suggestions. Does Quinoa help?

  1. Menopausal diet needs to have good quantities of  calcium/ phytoestrogens/  fibres; moderate amounts of iron/ salt/ fats and sugar and almost devoid of confectionaries and processed foods. (dairy products, green leafy vegetables, fortified foods, fish, flaxseeds/ tangy fruits)
