Coping with Guilt and Grief

Numbness, whether we have experienced loss at a personal level or through our friends losing someone, most of us have now reached the point of numbness. What hides beneath this numbness? Is it fatigue? Is it grief? Is it anger? Is it guilt? Is it emotional exhaustion? The classic way to deal with all these questions is to brush them aside, stand up tall and say I AM OK. I have to be strong, positive and show up for others.

To help us navigate through this turmoil that manifests as physical and emotional burnout, we have invited Dr Nahid Dave, a consultant psychiatrist. We thought she would be perfect to help us decode and simplify the roller coaster of emotions we are feeling.

About Dr Nahid Dave

Dr. Nahid Dave specialises in individual counselling, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, addiction, couples therapy, relationship counselling, parenting difficulties, anger management, anxiety and family therapy. She is the author of a book called ‘Mindfulness for Transformation’ that was published in the UK, and is available on Amazon.

Her speciality is her ability to distill the heavy-duty concepts of psychiatry, psychology and mindfulness into easy actionables in everyday life. During these challenging times, we thought Dr Nahid would be perfect to simplify and decode how to navigate through the myriad of emotions we are all feeling.

Dr. Nahid is a gold medalist in Psychiatry Medicine (D.P.M.) and M.D. in Psychiatry from USAIM. She trained in advanced concepts of REBT and CBT, Transactional Analysis and Mindfulness techniques.

Come join us in this conversation with Dr Nahid. We plan to take a lot of questions from the participants to make it really meaningful for all of us.
